Ja, es gibt ihn immer noch. Auch wenn er nicht mehr ganz so aktuell in den Medien behandelt wird, mal von den Attentat-Nachrichten abgesehen. Und doch ist der Krieg für viele, ob gewollt oder nicht, Alltag geworden.
Und für eines muss man der deutschen Regierung dann doch mal dankbar sein. Nämlich dafür, dass sie NICHT mit in den Irak einmarschiert sind, wie das vielleicht gewisse Wischmops gewollt hätten. Man braucht sich nur den Beitrag “Der Krieg im Kopf (22:19)” anzusehen, um zu erkennen, dass Krieg immer die schlechteste aller Möglichkeiten ist.
Diese Reportage macht mich sehr traurig, dass junge Menschen, egal wie, verheizt werden. Ohne dass sie die Chance haben, für sich selbst zu entscheiden, ob sie diesen Wahnsinn mitmachen wollen.
Und wo zum Teufel verstecken sich eigentlich der Affe und seine Marionettenspieler???

new year – same intentions

Like last year and that year before I try to reduce the gravitation my body appeals towards the earth. I managed to reduce my weight by 10% until now. That sounds very much but there is still 15% to go. And since patience is not a virtue of me I’d rather loose the superfluous fat today than tomorrow.
From most people I head that they prefer doing sport when it’s warm. Not me. I get faster the colder it gets. We had a temperature drop by 8°C in two days. The day before yesterday I ran 4.45km in 27min (thanks to Google Earth for the guide tool ). Today it was 4.7km in the same time. Scaling that to the 0K (=-273°C) I should run 72.7km in 27min. I’d like to see that

Actually I love to listen to Windir’s “Journey to the end”. It’s quite an epic song with so much to discover every time I listen to it. The original version sounds like this:

And there is a piano cover I just discovered. Very amazing although it’s too short

Everytime I listen to this song I imagine myself somewhere in the Norwegian wilderness walking some place I will live in peace without the disturbances of the modern civilization. Thanks Valfar for this wonderful peace of music!

One addition to this poem: this was written in expectation of the “hit”. It states the feelings and thoughts of a splitting of a very lucky man who thought he just lost the best woman of the world. But after a long talk both agreed to have a friendship where they will meet without anger or rage. And hope springs eternal.

Toyota Paseo – tachometer precision

Yesterday I had my navigation system displaying the speed I was travelling at. So I could estimate the real speed compared to that displayed on the tachometer.
Between 80 and 140 km/h the tachometer displayed about 7-8 km/h too much. But on one stage of the autobahn I accelerated up to 190 km/h on the tachometer and the navi showed 188 km/h. This is really strange. The faster I drive the more precise the tachometer becomes. Whatever that means

I actually love all the Rambo movies. They are all pretty good and I will never be tired watching them. My favourite ranking is 1 – 4 – 3 – 2. Nevertheless I love a good parody.
